Microsoft Bing With ChatGPT Functionality

Microsoft has released a new version of its Bing search engine that incorporates cutting-edge AI technology.

The update makes use of OpenAI's ChatGPT technology, which has been making waves all over the world over the last year or so.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella remarked, "The race starts today."

Mr. Nadella predicted that this will change the way people engage with websites and services. He said that this technique will revolutionise every existing software industry.
ChatGPT, developed by the Microsoft-backed OpenAI, uses deep learning algorithms to simulate human responses to search queries.

Soon, when you do a search on Bing, you'll get detailed answers rather than just links to websites. Moreover, customers may tailor their demands by having a conversation with the bot. Extra relevant results will be shown on the right-hand side of search engine results pages.

There will be a limit on how many times an individual user may use the new Bing search engine.

This news comes only one day after Google introduced its own chatbot, named Bard.

Both companies are working at full speed to provide their products to customers.
After the announcement, Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives sent a note to investors praising Microsoft's investment and claiming it would "significantly increase" the company's competitiveness.

"This is only the first move on the AI front as Big Tech participates in an AI arms race," he said.

Microsoft has spent billions of dollars on AI research and development, and the company was an early backer of the San Francisco-based OpenAI.

A "multiyear, multibillion-dollar investment" will be made to continue its work with OpenAI, the company said in January 2023.
