Perpetual Bliss

Can I hide from the world and find myself?

The way I was meant to be; pure and full of joy

Like the stars that shine no matter

how dark the night seems

They keep coming back to spread their glitter

Like the wind that blows endlessly with no worries

I wanna give up the need to impress and

smile those fake smiles

I want to find my real laughter

that springs from the source unknown

I wanna stay in perpetual bliss

Can there be something that is close yet far away?

An escape to freedom from the games people play

This life is neither black nor white;

it's shady, it is grey

But hey I will get things going my way

I am gonna paint a rainbow

And perpetual bliss is where I will stay.
